Posters and DemosACSOS 2026
Call for Posters and Demos
Important Dates
- Poster/Demo Submission Deadline: June 29, 2026 (Extended)
- Notification to Authors: July 15, 2026
- Camera-Ready Deadline: July 22, 2026
- ACSOS Conference: September 7–11, 2026
All times are in Anywhere on Earth (AoE) timezone.
The ACSOS 2026 Poster and Demo Track provides an excellent opportunity to showcase early-stage research, novel ideas, system prototypes, tools, and practical implementations of autonomic, self-adaptive, self-organising, and multi-agent systems, models, algorithms, and techniques. The track is designed to foster interaction, discussion, and direct feedback from conference participants.
We particularly encourage submissions describing work in progress; innovative concepts and emerging research directions; tool demonstrations and system implementations; and practical experiences and applications.
Additionally, selected papers from the main conference track may be invited to present as posters, offering authors an alternative presentation format that enhances networking opportunities and enables direct engagement with attendees. These submissions retain full publication in the conference proceedings. For further details, please see the Main Track Call for Papers.
Submission Guidelines
Posters and demonstrations must be submitted in the form of a two-page extended abstract (including figures, tables, and references) and must comply with the IEEE Computer Society Press proceedings format. Submissions must present original, unpublished work that is not under review at any other venue.
Demonstration Submissions
Demonstration abstracts must include:
- A link to a video (up to 5 minutes) hosted at a permanent location, clearly showing the system or prototype in action.
- When possible, a link to a permanent repository (e.g., GitHub) where the source code is available.
Submission Process
Papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format through the ACSOS 2026 conference management system via EasyChair (selecting the ACSOS 2026 Poster and Demo Track).
Papers accepted directly to the main conference track may also choose to present their work as posters without submitting an extended abstract. However, these submissions will not be eligible for the Best Poster/Demo Award.
Presentation Format
Accepted submissions must be presented in person during the conference. Accepted posters and demos will also be invited to deliver a 3-minute spotlight presentation during the main conference program to introduce their work and encourage attendance at the interactive poster session. At least one author of each accepted submission must register for the conference.
Selection Process
The Poster and Demo Track follows a single-blind review process. Authors should include their names and affiliations in the submission. Reviewer identities will remain anonymous.
Extended abstracts will be evaluated based on novelty, technical soundness, impact and relevance to ACSOS, and quality of presentation. For demonstrations, the accessibility and documentation of the software tool will also be considered.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the ACSOS Companion Proceedings (IEEE Computer Society Press) and included in the IEEE Digital Library.
Poster Guidelines
Posters should clearly communicate:
- The purpose and goals of the work
- Background and motivation
- Key assumptions or hypotheses
- Summary of contributions and/or results
- Relationship to related work
- Where to find additional information (website, contact details, publications, etc.)
Posters should be visually engaging and concise. Visual elements are strongly encouraged. If screenshots are included, please ensure they are readable. The recommended poster size is A0. Authors presenting in person must print and bring their posters to the conference.
Demonstration Guidelines
At the conference, authors will present their live demos on their laptops and are invited to bring any other piece of equipment they may need. Software simulations or video recordings are accepted as an alternative if a real-time demo is not possible.
Additionally, authors of the accepted demonstration submissions must also produce a poster summarising their system and demo, following the poster guidelines.
Camera Ready Submission
STEP 1: Important Dates
At least one author per accepted poster/demo extended abstract must complete author registration by July 20, 2026.
Final camera-ready manuscripts must be submitted by July 22, 2026 AoE.
STEP 2: Page Limits
| Paper Type | Proceedings Volume | Page Limit |
| Posters and Demos Extended Abstracts | ACSOS-C | 2 pages including figures, tables, and references |
STEP 3: Formatting Your Paper
- Submitted abstracts should not exceed 200 words.
- Final submissions must use US Letter page size, the two-column IEEE conference proceedings format, and PDF format.
- IEEE templates are available from the IEEE Author Center: https://www.ieee.org/conferences/publishing/templates.html
- Do not include page numbers, headers, or footers.
- The camera-ready version must include author names, affiliations, and acknowledgments as appropriate.
STEP 4: Submitting Your Final Version
Once the format of your paper has been verified and validated, you may submit your final version.
All papers should be submitted using the submission system provided by the IEEE Author Submission Site. Please use the correct site for your proceedings volume:
- Posters and Demos Extended Abstracts: ACSOS-C Author Submission Site: The IEEE Author Submission Site link will be provided directly to authors of accepted papers by the corresponding track chairs.
After you login to the IEEE Author Submission Site, please follow the instructions as you click the Next button on the top right corner of the site. Please enter the following information exactly as it appears on your paper:
- Paper ID (Paper ID from EasyChair, unless CPS assigns a different ID)
- Names of authors, affiliations, countries, and email addresses
- Title and abstract
Follow the instructions to submit your final manuscript.
STEP 5: Submitting a Signed Copyright Release Form
ACSOS 2026 requires authors to submit a fully digital version of the electronic IEEE Copyright-release Form (eCF). The eCF is provided at the IEEE Author Submission Site.
Follow the instructions in the IEEE Author Submission Site to properly fill out and submit the IEEE Copyright-release Form (eCF), including:
- Paper's full title
- All author names
-
Conference title:
2026 IEEE International Conference on Autonomic Computing and Self-Organizing Systems Companion (ACSOS-C)
- Signature on the appropriate line
The signed IEEE Copyright-release Form (eCF) should be submitted together with your camera-ready manuscript by July 20, 2026 AoE.
If you have any questions about the above procedures, please contact the Proceedings Chair: Jialong Li (lijialong@aoni.waseda.jp).
Note: Extra pages are not allowed unless explicitly stated by the conference organizers. Please complete each of the above steps. The conference organizers will not be responsible if your paper is omitted from the proceedings, is not available online in IEEE Xplore, or is subject to additional processing costs if these steps are not performed.
