Posters and DemosACSOS 2026
Call for Posters and Demos
Important Dates
- Poster/Demo Submission Deadline: June 25, 2026
- Notification to Authors: July 15, 2026
- Camera-Ready Deadline: July 22, 2026
- ACSOS Conference: September 7–11, 2026
All times are in Anywhere on Earth (AoE) timezone.
The ACSOS 2026 Poster and Demo Track provides an excellent opportunity to showcase early-stage research, novel ideas, system prototypes, tools, and practical implementations of autonomic, self-adaptive, self-organising, and multi-agent systems, models, algorithms, and techniques. The track is designed to foster interaction, discussion, and direct feedback from conference participants.
We particularly encourage submissions describing work in progress; innovative concepts and emerging research directions; tool demonstrations and system implementations; and practical experiences and applications.
Additionally, selected papers from the main conference track may be invited to present as posters, offering authors an alternative presentation format that enhances networking opportunities and enables direct engagement with attendees. These submissions retain full publication in the conference proceedings. For further details, please see the Main Track Call for Papers.
Submission Guidelines
Posters and demonstrations must be submitted in the form of a two-page extended abstract (including figures, tables, and references) and must comply with the IEEE Computer Society Press proceedings format. Submissions must present original, unpublished work that is not under review at any other venue.
Demonstration Submissions
Demonstration abstracts must include:
- A link to a video (up to 5 minutes) hosted at a permanent location, clearly showing the system or prototype in action.
- When possible, a link to a permanent repository (e.g., GitHub) where the source code is available.
Submission Process
Papers must be submitted electronically in PDF format through the ACSOS 2026 conference management system via EasyChair (selecting the ACSOS 2026 Poster and Demo Track).
Papers accepted directly to the main conference track may also choose to present their work as posters without submitting an extended abstract. However, these submissions will not be eligible for the Best Poster/Demo Award.
Presentation Format
Accepted submissions must be presented in person during the conference. Accepted posters and demos will also be invited to deliver a 3-minute spotlight presentation during the main conference program to introduce their work and encourage attendance at the interactive poster session. At least one author of each accepted submission must register for the conference.
Selection Process
The Poster and Demo Track follows a single-blind review process. Authors should include their names and affiliations in the submission. Reviewer identities will remain anonymous.
Extended abstracts will be evaluated based on novelty, technical soundness, impact and relevance to ACSOS, and quality of presentation. For demonstrations, the accessibility and documentation of the software tool will also be considered.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the ACSOS Companion Proceedings (IEEE Computer Society Press) and included in the IEEE Digital Library.
Poster Guidelines
Posters should clearly communicate:
- The purpose and goals of the work
- Background and motivation
- Key assumptions or hypotheses
- Summary of contributions and/or results
- Relationship to related work
- Where to find additional information (website, contact details, publications, etc.)
Posters should be visually engaging and concise. Visual elements are strongly encouraged. If screenshots are included, please ensure they are readable. The recommended poster size is A0. Authors presenting in person must print and bring their posters to the conference.
Demonstration Guidelines
At the conference, authors will present their live demos on their laptops and are invited to bring any other piece of equipment they may need. Software simulations or video recordings are accepted as an alternative if a real-time demo is not possible.
Additionally, authors of the accepted demonstration submissions must also produce a poster summarising their system and demo, following the poster guidelines.
