Dr Fatemeh Golpayegani is an Associate Professor in the School of Computer Science, University College Dublin. She is the Vice-chair of Young Academy Ireland and Vice Principal for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, UCD College of Science.
She leads the Multi-agent Systems and Sustainable Solutions research lab, in the school of Computer Science, with several PhD and postdoctoral researchers (MAS3.ucd.ie). She has secured over 2 million Euros in research grants and is currently leading multiple international and national projects in the application of AI for autonomous and sustainable systems.
She coordinates the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Project, RE-ROUTE, a multi-national European project on Intelligent transport networks and multi-modal mobility. She is also a co-PI on Augmented CCAM project, a multi-million European project on developing Connected, Cooperative and Autonomous Mobility. She is funded investigator in several SFI research centres, including I-Form, CONNECT, Biorbic, and named PhD supervisor in SFI centres for doctoral training, ML-labs and d-real.
